Born and raised in the greater Philadelphia area, Michael attended East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 2014, followed by his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Widener University in 2017.

Michael has always been passionate about the sport and culture of freestyle snowboarding — competing in regional events and rail jams for years — and always dreamed of moving to the mountain west for access to bigger terrain. He relocated to Salt Lake City upon completing his degrees and promptly began his career in private practice outpatient orthopedics, treating a diverse array of conditions before stepping into a clinic director role, where he built a thriving practice through consistent outcomes, quality care, and individualized programming.

As a lifelong athlete, Michael's passion as a physical therapist is to help athletes understand how to rebound from injury and reach their highest potential while building the resilience and longevity to keep doing what they love. He joined the Rogue team as a natural fit, focusing his clinical practice on athlete-centered one-on-one care.

Outside the clinic, Michael is a competitive mountain ultramarathon runner. He discovered trail running in 2019 after wanting to stay in the mountains year-round — starting with sport climbing and alpine scrambling before growing curious about going further and faster on the trails.
