From a small town in north Alabama, Luke grew up playing four sports and working on a cattle farm. Although he achieved three runner-up trophies in cross-country during high school, his focus shifted in college toward an entirely different athletic build in Olympic lifting and CrossFit.

Luke earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama Birmingham and his professional experiences have included training under some of the most celebrated sports physical therapists in the nation. He has worked directly with athletes competing in the NFL, MLB, USA Olympic Weightlifting, and The CrossFit Games. Despite this background with elite competitors, he truly enjoys treating anyone who is driven to “get back to doing their thing”. Outside of work, Luke stays busy by weightlifting, golfing, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, playing recreational sports, and keeping up with a toddler.

Ultimately, Luke describes himself as a “chameleon” across the realms of exercise, fitness, and athletics. Having participated in various disciplines to become a versatile athlete, he personally and deeply understands the physical demands required to return to the sports and activities his patients love.
