Born and raised in Rock Island, Illinois, Adam attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. After graduating from WashU in St Louis, Adam moved to Oregon to explore the great Pacific Northwest with his now wife and physical therapist, Kelsi. He completed an orthopedic residency with Therapeutic Associates, Inc while transitioning to a position at the Nike Wellness Center in Beaverton, OR. At Nike, Adam worked with former and present recreational and professional athletes and was head of Fitness Testing. Over the next 4 years, Adam worked with the Nike Climbing Project and Nike-Invictus CrossFit to reduce injury risk and effectively return injured athletes to training. Since graduating, Adam has continued to hone, progress, and modify his evaluation and treatments.
While back in Rock Island for the holidays in 2018, Adam sat in a small coffee shop and dreamt up Rogue Rehab. Kelsi and Adam moved to Salt Lake City in 2019 and Adam quickly put the dream into action, first in a small closet in a CrossFit gym and then a slightly larger space in The Front Climbing Gym. After a short stint on the mean streets of State St, Rogue found its home on 9th and 9th in 2023. Since then, Rogue’s deep roots in one-on-one care where the provider actually gives a damn has flourished because of the amazing patients!
When not working, Adam spends the majority of his time with Kelsi, Theo(4), Hudson(1), and Rogue(infinite). He’ll road bike a bit, pretend to run sometimes, snowboard, and prefers to try lifting heavy things often.
